- Submit your FAFSA each year you attend. For maximum aid consideration, submit by the priority date. Make sure to include The Ohio State University's school code (003090).
- Submit the ScholarshipUniverse Application by the priority date each year. In addition, check with your college office to ask about departmental scholarships that might be available.
- If selected for verification, make sure this process is complete within 45 days of selection.
- Check your financial aid status in My Buckeye Link regularly to ensure you have no outstanding To Do items.
- Once offered, review details for each aid type offered (including repayment plans, interest rates, loan terms etc.). When you are ready, accept the loan amounts that you are comfortable with via My Buckeye Link.
- Sign any Master Promissory Notes and complete any Entrance Counseling that is required. Note: Different forms of aid MAY have different promissory notes that need to be signed.
- If necessary, sign and submit the
Graduate PLUS application and Master Promissory Note.
- Meet all SAP and aid eligibility requirements.
